Getting started

What is Plurary?

One place to keep track of what you watch, play, read, listen to, cook and collect. Add entries, rate them, write notes, follow your progress, and share a tracker with friends using a link.

Is it free?

Yes. A free account gets one Movies & Series tracker and one Games tracker, with up to 250 entries each. Premium (€2.90/month or €29.90/year) unlocks everything else: see “What does Premium include?” below.

Which kinds of trackers are there?

Movies & Series, Games, Books, Podcasts, Comics, Manga, Recipes, and Custom trackers that you design yourself (for board games, restaurants, wines, anything).

Trackers and entries

Where do titles and covers come from?

When you add an entry, Plurary searches a catalogue for that kind of tracker: TMDB for movies and series, IGDB for games, Open Library for books and comics, Taddy for podcasts and MangaUpdates for manga. Each tracker credits its source at the bottom of the page.

Can I use my own picture for an entry?

Yes. Open the entry and choose “Change image”. Anyone can paste a link to an image; Premium members can also upload a photo from their device. It replaces the cover from the search.

How do Custom trackers work?

Pick Custom when adding a tracker, then give it up to 8 fields of your own: text, number, date, a choice list, or a location you can search for or pin on a map. Start from the Board games or Restaurants template, or from a blank one, and choose whether entries have a status (Planned, In progress…).

How is progress counted for manga and comics?

Manga counts volumes and comics count issues. Plurary looks up how many are out so far (from MangaUpdates and Metron) and shows it next to where you are, for example “Vol. 13 of 115”.

How do I add a recipe?

In a Recipes tracker, paste the recipe's web address. Plurary reads its title, picture, total time and servings from the page, and keeps a link back to the original recipe.

What does “Where to watch” show?

For movies and series, the services where a title is available in the country you pick, from JustWatch through TMDB. Premium adds direct links into each service, with rent and buy prices and a note when something is leaving soon. Availability changes often, so it can occasionally be out of date.

Can I switch between a grid and a carousel?

Yes, with the button at the bottom of the sidebar. Your choice is saved to your account, so it follows you to other devices.

Sharing

How do I share a tracker?

Open the tracker and choose “Share link”. Anyone with the link can see that tracker's entries, ratings and statuses. Nobody needs an account to view it.

Are my notes visible on shared pages?

Only if you choose so. Each entry's notes stay private unless you tick “Show this note on shared pages” for that entry.

Can friends suggest things for my list?

On Premium, visitors to your share link can suggest an entry. Suggestions wait in the tracker's “Pending suggestions” until you approve or reject them.

How do I stop sharing?

In the share window, choose “Turn off this link”. The old link stops working immediately, and you get a new private one in case you want to share again later.

Premium and billing

What does Premium include?

Every tracker type, up to 50 trackers with up to 5,000 entries each, the yearly recap, photo uploads for entries, direct streaming links with prices, and suggestions on your share links. It costs €2.90 per month or €29.90 per year.

Can I cancel? Can I get a refund?

You can cancel at any time and keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. If Premium isn't for you, email us within 14 days of a payment for a full refund. Details are in the Terms.

What happens to my data if I go back to Free?

Nothing is deleted. Anything over the Free limits stays visible, but you can't add more there, and Premium features stop: for example, your share links become view-only.
